Two kinds of people's information is held here: creators who make meditations, and the subscribers they send them to. Subscribers never asked us for anything, so much of what follows is about being careful with them.
Who runs this
Super Cool Gear LLC, a Wyoming company, operated by one person: Guustaaf Damave, in Taiwan. Write to connect@elixonic.com about anything on this page and a person answers.
For creators
If you write meditations here and send them to your own people.
What we keep
Your name and email address, your programs and everything written in them, any voice you record or upload, the files you export, your subscriber list, and a record of what you sent and what became of it. Enough to run the service and to answer what did I send, and did it arrive months later.
Your voice
A voice you record or upload is sent to Cartesia, who make the copy that reads your scripts. We keep the sample you gave and the settings. You can delete the voice at any time, which deletes it at Cartesia too. Before a voice is made you confirm that it is yours to use, and that confirmation is kept with it.
Who else sees any of it
Only what each one needs to do its part:
- Cartesia — the words to be spoken, and voice samples, to make the audio.
- Anthropic — the words, when you ask for help writing or for a translation.
- Stripe — payment details, when paying starts. Card numbers never reach us.
Beyond those, the ordinary plumbing: a company that delivers the mail and a company that runs the server. Nothing on these pages is loaded from anywhere else.
Your mail may be read by the person who runs this
To check that programs come out right and that delivery works, a copy of an outgoing message is sometimes sent to us. Your programs, your list and what went to whom are visible to us as well, as at any hosted service. We look when there is a reason to.
How long your work is kept
For as long as your account exists. Master files are deleted after a day. Ask us and we will delete the account and everything in it.
For subscribers
If a teacher you know sends you meditations made here.
You are their audience, not ours
We never email you on our own behalf, never sell or share your details, never add you to anything, and never use your address for anything but sending you what they made for you.
What we hold
What they entered — usually your first name, your email address, sometimes a note on how your name is pronounced — together with the files made for you and whether each one arrived.
Stopping
Use the link at the foot of any message. It takes effect immediately and the person who sent it cannot undo it; only you can. To be removed from their list altogether, ask them, or write to us.
How long your meditation lasts
The private link in your message works for 90 days. Download the file from that page and it is yours to keep for as long as you like.
Both
Nothing is sold, and nothing trains anything
We do not sell anyone's information, we do not share it for advertising, and we do not use what is written here or what anyone hears to train any model of our own.
Cookies
One cookie to keep you signed in and one to protect forms, both necessary. Your light or dark preference is remembered by your own browser and never reaches us. There is no analytics, no tracking and no advertising on any page here.
Where it lives
On a server in New York, and with the companies listed above, who are mostly in the United States. If you are in Europe, that means your information is handled outside the EU.
What you can ask for
A copy of what we hold on you, a correction, or deletion. Write to connect@elixonic.com.
If this changes
The date at the top changes with it, and anything that materially affects anyone will be said in a message rather than quietly amended.
