Plain English on purpose. If a sentence here is unclear, that is our fault and worth telling us about — connect@elixonic.com.

Who this is with

Elixonic is run by Super Cool Gear LLC, a Wyoming company. Using it means agreeing to what is on this page. Privacy says what is kept and who sees it; it is part of this agreement.

Your account

An account is for one person — keep your password to yourself, and tell us if you think someone else has it. What is done with your account is treated as done by you.

Your voice

A voice you make here stays yours. We do not offer it to anyone else, do not use it in anyone else's programs, and do not use it to train anything. It is used to read your scripts, and that is all.

When you make one, you confirm that the recording is of your own voice, or that the person speaking has given you permission to use it this way. That confirmation is kept, with the date and with the version of these terms it was made under. Cloning someone's voice without their agreement is the one thing that would make this product a weapon, so an account that does it is closed and the voice deleted.

Delete a voice and it goes from here and from the service that holds it. Files you already made with it are unaffected.

Your work

Your programs, your words and your voice are yours, and so is a meditation as you put it together. The music and ambiances in it are ours, and licensed to you below. Scripts written with Elixonic's help are yours to use as you like and we claim nothing in them — though the law on who owns machine-written text is unsettled, so we cannot promise more than that. You give us only what is needed to run the service: to store your work, process it, make audio from it, and send it to the people you choose. Nothing here is used to train any model of ours, shown to other teachers, or published anywhere.

What you write is your responsibility. Do not put anything here that you have no right to use.

Using what you make

Use what you make however you like, including selling it. A meditation made here may be shared, published and sold — in a paid podcast, a course, an app, on a monetised channel, anywhere — to as many people as you can reach. The music and ambiances in it belong to us; you have a licence to use them as part of your meditations, worldwide, royalty-free, and not exclusive to you. What you pay us has nothing to do with it: a meditation you send to ten people may be heard by ten thousand.

It outlasts your subscription. A meditation you exported while subscribed stays licensed for good, after you cancel and after your account closes. Your back catalogue is never held hostage to a payment.

Three things the licence does not cover:

If someone else's registration catches one of yours anyway, dispute it and tell us. We will confirm to the platform that the sounds are licensed to you.

A subliminal meditation says so. One made in subliminal mode opens with a spoken disclosure, and its listeners can read every word. Keep the disclosure in it, and wherever you publish it, say that it contains subliminal messages.

The people you send to

They are yours, and we treat them that way: never emailed by us, never shared, never sold. In return, you confirm they asked to hear from you. The anti-spam policy is part of this agreement — no bought lists, no harvested addresses, no mail to people who did not ask. An account that sends to strangers is closed.

An unsubscribe belongs to the person who made it and cannot be undone by you.

Paying

The price goes by how many subscribers you have, and every capability is at every price. Crossing a rung changes what you pay from the next billing period; nothing is ever refused because of it, and removing people moves it back down.

Cancel whenever you like and it runs to the end of the period you have paid for. We do not refund part-months. If prices change, you hear about it before it affects you.

What this is not

A meditation is not medical treatment and this is not a medical service. Nothing made here diagnoses, treats or cures anything. If you are unwell, talk to a doctor. Teachers are responsible for what their own meditations say and for any claim they make about them.

What we promise, and what we do not

This is young software, run by one person. We will keep it working and tell you the truth when it breaks, but we do not promise it is always available or always without fault. Back up anything you could not bear to lose; ask us for a copy of your work at any time and you will get one.

Ending it

You can leave at any time and take your work with you, and what you exported stays licensed, as above. We can close an account for the things named above — cloning a voice without permission, mailing people who did not ask — and otherwise only with notice and a reason. After an account closes, its files are deleted, and links already sent to listeners stop working.

If something goes wrong

If we are at fault, what you can recover is limited to what you have paid us in the twelve months before it happened. We are not liable for indirect losses — lost income, lost students, lost time. Nothing here takes away rights the law gives you and will not let you sign away.

Which law

Wyoming law, and the courts of Wyoming, United States.

If these change

The version number and date at the top change with them. Anything that materially affects you is said in a message, not quietly amended, and the version you agreed to when you made a voice stays recorded against it.
